Are Lauren Conrad & Derek Hough Dating?

It sure looks that way!
Thursday night Lauren Conrad and Derek Hough were spotted sneaking out of Hollywood nightclub, Playhouse, in the early hours sparking rumours that the pair have become more than friends.
The 25-year-old former Hills star and the 26-year-old DWTS dancer left the club through a back door and stood together in the alley.
A sheepish looking Lauren kept her hand in front of her face while they waited for their cars and a security guard attempted to block people's view of the pair.
As they left, Derek stayed several paces behind Lauren.
The couple then left in separate cars.
Lauren has been single since her split from Kyle Howard in June after three years together.
Derek, meanwhile, was previously linked to Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole.

Olivia Palermo Attends the Christian Dior Spring 2012 show during Paris Fashion Week

Olivia Palermo attended the Christian Dior Spring 2012 show decked out in the designer label. The fashion maven donned a sheer black lace ensemble with a dainty collar.
The queen of accessories belted the look and carried a red Christian Dior quilted clutch for a pop of color (and to match her crimson lips). She stepped out in the label's black stiletto ankle-boots to add edge to the dark feminine look.
Jade shoulder-duster earrings by Bochic were the statement piece of Olivia's look. A swept-back effortless bun completed the starlet's fantastic fashion show style.
In other Olivia news, the chic fashionista is gearing up for the launch of her Web site next week, oliviapalermo.com, and she told Women's Wear Daily that she relished finally being her own boss. “I like it because you’re able to be more creative and have your focus, so it’s great.”

a bright surprise

Don't you love it when something unexpected turns up - especially if it's pretty!

I walked in to the house yesterday afternoon to find a wonderful silhouette pattern on a wall.  The autumn afternoon sun had come down low, and bounced off something shiny outside, through a window, throwing the perfect outline of candelabra, and window frame, as clear cut as if it had been painted.

little things please little minds ....
it certainly made me smile!

oh, and don't forget the giveaway, running until next Friday

Bye, September!

Hi there!
Finally we have to say goodbye to our beloved september. We got so many good things and bad things this month. have we grateful for it? (Honestly, I also love to complain. Very often) LOL.
Is it rainy season? err, whut about some pics and... fashion attack?

Oversized Factor Fearless Jacket, Ge'er Comiks T-shirt,
Urbanch Jeans, Converse shoes

It's rainy season already! Lucky me, yesterday was dry. So, I asked my friend(s) to accompany me and help me took the photos (I just got a new comik T-shirt and a new jacket too).  hehe. thankies guys! you both rock! I won't tell everyone that you're who click the shoot button - as my promise :-p
(They didn't want me to mention their names or post their pics in here). such a calm and anti-camera friends. hehe...
I love rain. It makes the weather cooler, and all the leaves in front of my home looks brighter. Sometimes, some frogs jump near my feet and I'm so excited to see many tadpoles in the trench, swiming with their tiny tails. woohoo...!

Bye, September!
A little thing I hate when you're gone: Mid semester test. 10 days from now. UKHH...!!!
:(

This Might be the Very Last Day!

1 Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Last night, Jeremiah and I attended Rosh Hashanah services at America’s oldest standing synagogue, the Touro Synagogue or Newport, Rhode Island. It is an orthodox synagogue with mostly non-observing congregants. Go figure! That’s a story in and of itself. Never the less, these kind Jewish folks were good enough to let us participate in the teaching and Q and A session beforehand, as well as the services.

We learned that, for the past month, leading up to these high holy days, the shofar has sounded each day. Today, the last trumpet will sound!!! Did you get that?

Oh, wouldn’t it be wonderful if that last blast from the last trump sounded and the next thing we heard was a voice from heaven calling our names and saying “Come up hither!”?

The next face we would see would be that of our Savior meeting us in the clouds with our departed loved ones!

Let us live today as if it may be our last. Indeed, it may!

New Homes For Sale - 5 Things it Should Have

Buying a new home is always an exciting time for a family especially if it's their first one. There are a lot of expectations and as well as questions. Homes have gone through enormous changes in style, design, and architecture. There are many things people look for in a new home depending on their budget, personal preferences and current trends. Here we will go over a few things that all new homes should have. These features can make any home look more appealing and often times are enough to seal the deal without much negotiation.

1. Spacious Rooms - Space Does Matter Rooms that are not spacious create a suffocating and unappealing effect. All rooms of the home should be large and spacious. Prospective buyers walking through the house, tend to visualize the room with all the furnishing according to its space and make a mental image of the room in their head as they go along. Small rooms will create a poor impression of the entire home and might turn buyers off. People with large families especially are keen on large spacious rooms. They should be a part of every home's design.

2. Elegant and Attractive Kitchen It goes without saying that the kitchen is the center point of the home. It is where the entire family would gather every day to share their day. Being such an integral part of a home, the kitchen should be elegantly designed, look attractive and should have all the modern amenities that are needed in a home. It must also be properly ventilated and have a nearby access to the backyard or side porch.

3. Modern Architecture Throughout Instead of the standard nine foot ceiling and rectangular rooms, a home should have a modern feel to it. It should reflect some of the popular trends when it comes to the home design such arcs hallways and high ceilings. In addition new homes for sale should incorporate new designs such as Spanish and European architecture.

4. Beautiful Front Porch and Backyard Not only do new homes have to look elegant and attractive from the inside, they must also have an appealing outdoor view case in point the front porch and the backyard. Both need to be carefully constructed and nicely maintained especially the front porch which is the first thing buyers see when they arrive. The backyard is usually surrounded by a fence as such it is secluded from the public view however the backyard landscape needs to be properly fenced and grassed.

5. Competitive Pricing Eventually, it all comes down to the price in the end. The cost of the new home for sale has to be competitive and in line with the current market demands and expectations. Depending on the area, number of rooms, location and amenities of the house, the price could vary from city to city. Buying a new home is always an exciting time for a family however since it is one of the most expensive ventures a family typically undertakes, it is always best to explore all avenues and do your fair share of research even if it takes months. Keeping a sharp eye out for the above features will help buyers find their dream home.

falling in love again

I have always loved the used of stone, brick and flint stone in the traditional Normandy buildings but I haven't often seen such a beautiful example as this little château, currently up for sale.

This place must have been designed by a man in love and full of bubbling enthusiasm and admiration for the woman he adored !!  He made this château as pretty as possible with intricate designs in the brick work, a multitude of fancy  windows on the roof, carved stonework and a couple of asymmetrical towers, just for fun!

This black and white diamond design, is created using specially cut and split flint stones for the black, and local stone for the grey - the château may be 16th century, this sort of detail is still fashionable today!

To create beautiful hand carved stonework like this over the main entrance, he would have employed the nomad craftsmen called 'les compagnons de France', who travelled around the country selling their expertise as they went.

In case I've got you dreaming, you might like to know that this pearl is up for sale for just under 800.000 euros.  It has 8 bedrooms and 10 hectares of land.  A beautiful family size château, I am totally under it's charm!  Inside there are fantastic fireplaces, wood clad walls and original window panes, I believe that  major restoration is required.

I love this monochromatic portrait,, framed by stunning stucco leaves and fruit, and more pretty patterns in the brick and stone walls.

Any takers?  I'd love to come and visit if you do buy it!
